Chase Brexton Health Services, Inc. is a non-profit, federally qualified health system whose major service categories include: medical care, behavior health, dental care, pharmacy services, and case management. Chase Brexton Health Services purchased the historic Monumental Life Building located in the Mount Vernon district of Baltimore, Maryland to consolidate their current city facilities. Consisting of four contiguous structures and comprising nearly an entire city block, this iconic building transformed into a new state-of-the art integrated healthcare clinic that serves the community and offers Chase Brexton an opportunity to grow strategically. The renovation maintained the historical integrity of the original structures (exterior and interior lobbies), while the required interior tenant space was planned and reconfigured to house administrative and health care clinic space. The building systems and services were evaluated as part of this effort and selectively upgraded to meet the needs of the tenants and code compliance.
