We design critical facilities that balance high-availability, efficiency, and total cost of ownership.

Critical facilities are our only business, and we strive to develop long-term relationships with each client, becoming a trusted partner in the success of their projects. We focus exclusively on engineering resiliency, reliability, and maintainability of mission-critical facilities. Today, our mission is to deliver exceptional engineering in a customer-first, highly interactive environment creating facilities for information technology that clients are proud to own and confident to operate.

Partnership & Commitment

BKM is a partner for the life of your facility. From concept through construction and long after the contractors have left, BKM customers rely on the firm as a knowledgeable, trusted, and reliable partner throughout the facility’s lifecycle. Our project engineering team is exclusively involved in all design, factory testing, construction phase services, site acceptance testing, integrated commissioning, and operator training. Often, we are retained to develop operational procedures (normal, emergency, and maintenance modes) and demonstrate these procedures with the Owner’s Facilities Personnel. BKM’s data center experience includes more than 100 Continuous Availability Reviews™ of corporate critical facilities in the United States.

Engineering Approach

Passion is the foundation of the BKM process. From the onset of a relationship, BKM dedicates itself to thoroughly understanding each client’s goals and objectives. Then, we meticulously design the critical infrastructure to meet these objectives.

We pride ourselves on maintaining principal-level involvement throughout the life of every project. With this approach, we can build quality control into each project as it progresses (rather than performing a cursory review before submitting a deliverable).
