Mr. Thomas V. Murphy, Jr., along with John C. Burdette, Jr. and Louis A. Koehler, Jr., founded BKM on April 1, 1968 in Baltimore. Today, Mr. Murphy is 93 years young and lives a few miles from our office. While ownership and employees have changed since his time serving BKM, his legacy remains. His photographs of his time as an engineer and military veteran are hung proudly on our walls. He was happy to see that a conference room was named after him and that many of the employees he mentored are still employees today!
