Agora Publishing

BKM provided MEP design services for the renovation to 16 W. Madison, the newest addition to Agora’s cluster of historic Baltimore mansions.

Agora has gone great lengths to renovate this three-story brick building to a modern office setting and state-of-the-art studio for its financial subsidiaries, Taipan and The Studio. In addition, a conditions assessment of the major mechanical systems serving the rear portion (old theater space) of the Agora Publishing building and an assessment of the electrical service serving the building at 702 Cathedral Street in Baltimore, MD were performed. Included in the design was a high-pressure ducted system with small supply air ducts routed through the existing structure without the need for extensive demolition to the existing ceiling systems.
