BKM provided the MEP design for a new 45,000 SF three-story core & shell medical office building located above two levels of structured parking.
The HVAC design included three (3) DX rooftop air handling units, each dedicated to serve a floor. The electrical design included a new electrical service from the local utility (BGE) with pad-mounted transformer, an emergency generator, and sub-metering for each tenant space.
Under a separate contract, BKM provided the design for tenant fit-outs for much of the leasable space in the building. The design of the fit-out spaces began not long after the completion of the core and shell design and included:
•An Adult Wellness Center, which will occupy the entire leasable 1st floor.
•A Chronic Care & Sessions Clinic, which will occupy most of the 2nd floor.
•A Pediatrics Clinic, which will occupy half of the 3rd floor.
•A Conference & HR Center, which will occupy half of the 3rd floor.
