North Arundel OBGYN Renovation

BKM provided MEP design and construction administrative services for approximately 4,000-square-feet of shell space build-out and additional renovation for the Kaiser Permanente North Arundel Medical Center located in Glen Burnie, MD.

The build-out provided a procedure space, exam rooms and associated clinical care spaces for OB/GYN and pediatrics. The project also included renovations of the ground floor entry lobby to rework the registration area. Highlights of the project include: adhering to strict client standards to ensure design conformity of spaces within the medical center and within the client’s expanding portfolio of facilities nationwide. Additionally, modular wall construction (i.e. DIRTT) was used throughout the renovation to allow future floorplan modifications as the facility evolves. BKM worked with the modular wall provider to coordinate pre-wired and pre-piped electrical, IT and plumbing services to ensure a conformed look and easy installation after arrival at the construction site.
