BKM provided MEP design services for this 150,000-square-foot student center, the centerpiece facility on the campus mall.
The facility included food-service, retail areas, recreation areas, student organization space, lounge area, meeting rooms, and administrative offices. It has become the “Town Center,” providing a welcoming showplace for first-time visitors and a friendly haven for students, faculty, and staff. This building also included general computer space, network administration, and multimedia rooms. As part of the project scope, a central plant and gymnasium were demolished.
