Warner Hall Renovations
Greater Baltimore Medical Center selected BKM to develop plans for the renovation of an existing 8,000-Square-Foot patient ward to accommodate medical/surgical patients with behavioral health diagnosis.
The project consisted of a preliminary design of NICU spaces to allow renovations to relocate existing patients and following up with the development of a 16 bed patient suite to meet the institutions behavioral health and clinical standards. Features of the space include anti-ligature fixtures and security grilles and lights throughout the patient rooms, secured medical gas panels, and a central domestic water control panel. The mechanical systems included new isolation exhaust fans and risers for future floors.
