BKM provided MEP design services to fit-out 6,300-square-feet of a new shell office building in Waldorf, MD.
The space is comprised of a professional physician’s practice and ambulatory surgical center (ASC). BKM worked with the client to ensure the clinic would meet the state and Medicare requirements for an ASC.
To provide the most cost-effective clinic, BKM provided two (2) complete HVAC system designs for contractor pricing; multiple DX, fan-coil units with electric heat vs. a VRF system. The system selected was the Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system. BKM worked with the VRF manufacturer to provide contractor training for system installation, site-visits to review the construction and system start-up per the manufacturer’s recommendation.
Our 1+ Year Client Satisfaction Survey reported no complaints for the entire year of operation.
